Earlier this week, I attended the Kiss Webinar. They featured their Halloween products--Press on nails, nails and face art stickers, nail art paint (with limited edition orange), 2 lip glosses and costume eyelashes.
I haven't picked up the eyelashes because I wear glasses and the lashes are exaggerated in length. But they look really fun. Kerri, the Kiss representative who applied them to her lash line gave this tip:
After gluing the lashes with the accompanying lash glue, making sure to especially apply the glue to the corners of the lashes because they are heavier, place them on your lash line. Take the string out after applying the lashes, by grabbing the string and holding the corner. Use a "pinch, pull, pinch method" to secure the lashes in place.
Here are the nails I put on today using the press-on tabs included in the package:
One tip: Make sure your nails are clean and free of lotion or oils. Wiping them with a cotton pad of nail polish remover should do the trick. I forgot to do that and the nails came off with the tabs a couple of minutes after I put them on.
Right before I went out today, I made this little video:
Hope you all have a good weekend! Got any special plans?
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Our plans got rained out 2x. But yesterday, my daughter made chicken noodle soup and I made french bread, so all was fine after that.
Last night, I decided to put on some of the Kiss Halloween Nails I picked up earlier this month.
The nails' name is "Wicked"
The nails come with press on tabs. They can also be glued but the glue is not included.
Kiss has one other Halloween Limited Edition Nails I didn't show you previously.
I bought and wore these last year. I was thrilled to see they were offering them again at Walgreens this year. They come with press on tabs for one day's wear.
Last year, however, I glued them on.
I cut them down at the cuticle's edge and sniped the tips so they weren't as long.
We went to the pumpkin patch and corn maze.
Normally, these nails are long and curved. Some have a silver spider in the web.
Here's my Vampire Mickey, admiring my nails. ;p
These nails retail at $3.99 at Walgreens. There's a $1 off Kiss coupon in Walgreens October coupon booklet.
Also, if you *like* Kiss and Broadway Nails on Facebook, you can print out 2 coupons.
So what do you think? Would you wear these at long length? Cut down? Not at all?
Here's a pic of all the things I picked up in the last 2 weeks or so.
Sorry I've been away all week without a new post. The reason is I really loved wearing *these nails* and didn't feel compelled to change them. 98% of the stickers held on for the week. I just had to replace a patch on my right ring finger.
I made a video describing everything. This month, I'll be wearing the nails and posting about them with pictures. October's going to FUN!
Are you going to pick up any of the Limited Edition Kiss Halloween Nails?
