I went to CVS earlier today. And wanted to share with you all what I found.
....And I wanted to break the cardinal rule of blogging by posted multiple times in one day!
Anyway, does it count as 2 blog posts on one day if one of them is a vlog?
A blog about drugstore glue-on nails. And then about nail polish and nail art.
Welcome!
Welcome! So glad you stopped by my little bit of blogdom. Here I share my hobbies of nail polish, nail art and glue-on nails.

Marshalls and CVS Buys
I went to Marshalls and CVs yesterday. Did not find much at Marshalls but what I did find, I was excited about.
I've written before about H2O. I found this little kit of hand creams and scrub on clearance at Marshalls.

This paper stack has 180 pages for $6.99. Cheaper than the craft stores.
This stack of journaling cards was on clearance for only .70¢!
They journal cards are the size of postcards. Very cute motifs on each page.
Onto CVS...
I wanted to check out the new CVS because my daughter said they had more Confetti nail polish shades there. Armed with all my CVS ECB coupons, and an email coupon, I finally got to check it out for myself.
I picked up these three polishes:
O91 Silver Slippers, O29 Cherries Jubilee, O81 Smitten

Silver Slipper is a sheer purple-ish silver. The above photos are 2 coats. I think this might be a nice top coat for a variation for glitter top coats. Cherries Jubilee is a one coat wonder. Here I have applied two coats. It's a hot reddish pink for sure. Smitten is so dark purple it's approaching black.
Confetti is just $1.99 per bottle. When I have ECBs I like to use them to pick up a few new shades.
What do you think of my finds?
Have you tried H2O? Do you wear Confetti polishes?
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my blog.

CVS 75% off and TJ Maxx Bargains!
Yesterday and today, I went shopping. I had to take a top back to TJ Maxx, and while I was there, I looked around.
I found this:
Yes, more nail polishes. Just when I thought I had enough! Ha! But these are glitter polishes from L.A. Colors. Cost $6.99 or $1/pc. I really like the bronze glitter and the blue...and, well...all of them!
Today I stopped in at CVS. I haven't been there in weeks and they missed me and sent me a 20% off coupon in my email.
I'd read on Nouveau Cheap about the CVS 75% cosmetics sale but really wasn't in the mood to shop. I mean, not at all. Not even grocery shopping. I'm just so burnt out on all of it. But I needed some things and the 20% coupon lured me in, because the stuff I needed doesn't have coupons.
These were 20% off with the coupon. I thought the Milani nail paints were buy one get one 1/2 off, but it didn't come off my receipt that way. And honestly, I still had grocery shopping to do, and I was too tired already to go back and fight for about $1. I got 20% off for them, so I'm satisfied.
After everything was rung up, the 20% coupon took off $9.20 for these things and a magazine. I was very happy.
These polishes weren't eligible for additional 20% off but that's fine. They're 75% off!
I got back $1 CVS ECB for my green bag tag, and $5 CVS ECB for reaching $50 in beauty buys.
I found this:
My very favorite hand and foot scrubs and lotions!
I bought this gift box before some time back and fell in love with the hand scrub and foot scrub.
Yesterday I found it on the clearance shelf and snatched it up. H2o is a wonderful brand that I first used at a Walt Disney World Resort. It's shower gel is on sale quite often at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
We were going through the check out and I spotted this:![]() |

I picked up 2 more Confetti colors, love that brand! And found some 75% off nail polishes.

Free food and discount shopping
My birthday is coming up. All these email offers are coming in for it. So far I've had breakfast and a song-thing at IHOP, and salad, soup and COOKIES! at Sweet Tomatoes.
They are really good too! I have some other birthday dining options but I'm not sure if I'll use them.
Meanwhile...
I've been trying out my new iPhone and the Keyring app. FYI, just because there's a coupon on the keyring doesn't mean the store will know what to do with it. I spent over 10 minutes trying to get the cashier and manager at Target to listen to the directions, but they looked at me like I had 2 heads. Eventually, they took off the coupon amounts but didn't enter the barcodes for the coupons. Technology is only as good as the people who are trained to use it correctly.
At Ulta, I had better luck. The cashier typed in the barcode from the keyring, and I got $5 off $10.
My FIRST China Glazes!
I have a goal not to pay full price for nail polish. I have a small collection, and most, if not all of them were bought on sale, clearance or with coupons. These China Glazes were in the clearance bin at Ulta. I came home and found out they are part of the Vintage Vintage Collection that came out last July for the fall of 2010. I was so excited that I found these! Each were just $2.99. However, with the keyring coupon I only paid $7 plus tax for them.
L-R: 931-Foxy, 932-Going My Way, 941-Jitterbug, 934-Swing Baby
At CVS: 3/$10 for 12x3 cases of Pepsi. Used a $5 ECB making it .04¢/can. Is that right? That can't be right. $5/3=$1.66 per case/36 cans=.04¢ per can. WOW!
And finally:
