Nailene Ultra Adhesive Tabs Review and Update

Written Sept 1--
Day 2:
I took a shower last night, and the thumb nail lifted from the tab, but the tab held to my natural nail. This morning, my fake right index finger nail was lifting, but the tab was still stuck to my fingernail. I glued the nails to the tab still stuck to my fingers.

Later on, I chunked my fake index finger nail off my finger trying to get out of the car. I found the nail on the car's floor, and glued it back on.

So far, the tabs on my left hand seems to be holding tight.  The tabs on my right hand feel wobbly.

(I am wondering if the tabs aren't holding because my natural nail beds are flat and these fake nails are curved? I will do another review of these tabs when I am wearing fake nails for flat nail beds)
Day 2
Edited to Add: Right before I went to bed, the nail on my right hand ring finger popped off. I can't believe this! I glued the nail onto the sticky tab, (still stuck to my natural nail) back on. This is ridiculous! And yet, my left hand is doing fine.

Sept 2-
Day 3:
The nails can't take as much pressure as when they are glued on. My right hand now has 3 nails glued back onto the sticky tab. I'm thinking that the next time I use these tabs, I'm going to glue the nails to the sticky tabs. This might give my arched fake nails a fighting chance over my flat nail beds.

Another thing I've noticed is that my natural nails feel smothered. About a day after I glue on my nails, I can't feel the fake nails any longer because the glue has dried. My nails, with the sticky tabs, feel swamped. It's a really weird feeling.

So far, my left hand nails feel snug. Wonder how long that will last?

Removal-and-Update (3 days wear)
Ok. I couldn't take it any longer. I needed to pack some boxes, and my middle finger on my left hand was wobbly. So I removed my nails. Removal was super easy.

Just press on the nail, push it forward and off the natural nail. Sometimes it takes the sticky tab with it.
Sticky tab still stuck. Just had to roll it off my natural nail.

I used nail polish remover to get any residue off my nails.
Then I washed my hands with H20 Spa hand and cuticle scrub.
Followed up with cuticle cream and hand lotion.

Conclusion:
  • The Nailene tabs are stronger and longer lasting than Kiss mega tabs.
  •  Non-dominant hand would probably last up to 5 days.
  • Sticky tabs hang onto natural nail even if the artificial nail fails.
  • Dominant hand lost 3 nails 4x. (One was a chunking accident)
  • Next time, I will put a dab of nail glue onto the artificial nail and then put the nail onto the sticky tab on my natural nail.
  • I like that my nails are back to normal almost instantly.
  • I will definitely use these again.

They are definitely stronger than Kiss'. Can't wait to see what you think of them.

I'm glad they worked out for the most part!
