Tahitian Wedding

This mani started out as something else. How many times has that happened to you?
Polishes:
 Stickers:

I really love Confetti Tahitian Turquoise but it's a little streaky. So I painted my nails black first, let that dry and then painted 2 coats of the Turquoise. Then I applied the sliver floral stickers. Afterwards, 1 coat of quick drying top coat.

My daughter said it looked like I was going to a wedding. I'm not. But I thought that would be an ok title for this post.

This was taken without flash so the detail of the stickers would show up better.

Do you like this look? Let me know in the comments below.
Thanks for stopping by!

Um yeah this is definitely very pretty! I never would have thought to layer the Confetti over black! Very nice. I've got to get some of those stickers, they're on sale b1g1 half off at Walgreens this week. I don't really like stickers so much though because of the removal. Do you find them hard to remove?

Hi Thalie!

I'm trying to remember where I read to layer polish over black or white. I think it was Scrangie's blog. I've also seen youtube videos with white under colors to make them pop.

Just today, I ordered some Broadway and Kiss things from Walgreens.com. It's a good sale to stock up.

Normally, the stickers are on glue on nails, and if I've glued the nails to my natural nails, I don't wear those nails again once they come off.

I would suggest soaking a cotton ball in pure acetone, and holding it on your nail for a couple of minutes to loosen up the stickers. Also, I have filed the stickers down, and then used the acetone to get the rest off. Let me know if that helps.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope your week's is going good. :D

Cute! It does kinda look like something you would wear to a wedding, but I like it! :)
